Michael D. Kelley - NYG MetLife StadiumHello, my name is Michael Kelley. I graduated from Lafayette College on May 24 and recently completed a second internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers during training camp this summer.

I just accepted a six-month digital media internship position with Taylor, a public relations partner to leading brands such as Nike Jordan and NASCAR. That starts on January 5th in their office in the Empire State Building.

I will also start freelance work covering high school sports with NJ.com and The Star Ledger later this month.

CURRENTLY: I manage the communications for Brett Fischer Sports Consulting LLC and work with the public relations staff for the New York Giants during home games at MetLife Stadium.

EXPERIENCE: I have completed internships in professional sports for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Islanders, contributing written content that was published on their websites. I have sought additional experience through an internship in professional tennis and as sports editor for The Lafayette.

COLLEGE: I majored in Economics and minored in Psychology. My goal is to work in communications and public relations for a professional sports team.

WRITING: My work has appeared on Steelers.com, Islanders.NHL.com, LafayetteStudentNews.com, and CityofBasketballLove.com. I contributed training camp specific content for the Steelers and offseason coverage for the Islanders. I covered the football and men’s basketball teams for The Lafayette and previously the 2012-13 men’s basketball team for CityofBasketballLove.com.
